The co-founders of Temmes Management Services, Frank Weidema and Pieter van Tol, each have over 20 years of international tax experience. Since that time Frank and Pieter have developed significant expertise in the legal, tax and accounting aspects of establishing and operating holding, finance, intellectual property and principal structures in The Netherlands, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

After graduating as a tax lawyer, Frank started his career with Ernst & Whinney. Following that he joined the international tax practice of Coopers & Lybrand in London. He subsequently moved to the legal profession, was admitted in 1994 to the Brussels bar, and practiced as a partner in Swiss and U.S. law firms. Frank worked as an attorney in Amsterdam, Brussels and Zürich, and is admitted to practice in Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Pieter graduated with a degree in economics. After working for Ernst & Whinney in The Netherlands, Pieter transferred to the international tax group of the firm’s London office where he was involved in mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations of multinational corporations. He subsequently moved to Switzerland to accept the position of Director of Tax for Leica A.G., a global optics manufacturer. In 1992 Pieter and Frank established their own tax consulting firm which was when they started working together as independent advisors to multinational companies. Pieter and Frank formed Temmes Management Services B.V. in 1996 and the law firm of Weidema van Tol in 2000.
